As part of its digital offensive, our customer has fundamentally changed the system landscape around its advertising material process. The placement of advertising material with products had to be customised in a new tool for this system landscape. Above all, however, this technological innovation also meant a major change in the workflow of the specialist departments.
Our approach:
Proactive communication was particularly important in this project. We therefore saw ourselves as a mediator between the specialist departments and the digital offensive and moderated the transformation process at a local level. The constant changes in the system landscape constantly presented the specialist department with new, unforeseen challenges. However, we were able to solve these quickly thanks to a fast, agile approach and transparent dialogue.
Solution and results:
By working closely with the department, we were able to turn sceptics into supporters of the digital offensive. The new tool enables the department to make data-based decisions. Processes that previously took place in emails, Excel and PowerPoint are now centralised in one tool.

Spaceteams GmbH did a fantastic job in the process of managing the project. From creating an architecture idea, selecting infrastructure services up to planning the delvierables and interating on team feedback during the development process.
This was facilitated by always being exceptionally well prepared for decision making meetings. Additionally all Specateams members were a pleasure to work with from a personal perspective and we couldn't have asked for a better suited vendor implementing the project.

The data it contained was essential for the development of new software for many business areas and thus for the progress of the digital offensive. However, the host was not scalable to the number of consumers. System failures had to be avoided and there was a risk of downtime for several software teams.

Among other things, they made the complicated data flow of the system landscape understandable, even for non-IT experts. The challenge of developing a new tool in record time was of course a demanding effort, but working with Spaceteams was great fun.
The human factor in particular was great - we felt understood at all times and were given the best possible advice and support. The enthusiasm and appreciation created an extremely positive atmosphere and a great result.

The preparation and follow-up of the meetings was also excellent and directly provided us with the decision-making basis for the management. Although the challenge of getting a new tool up and running in record time was undoubtedly a demanding effort, working with Spaceteams on this was a lot of fun.
