My main area of work is the development of customised individual solutions. This concerns the entire development cycle from requirements analysis to technology selection, architecture, design and finally implementation and extension. On the technology side, I have mainly been using .Net, C#, C++, Visual Studio, SQL Server and MS Office in the Windows environment since 2002. However, this is not mandatory depending on the requirements. Further fields of activity have been Android apps (Visual Studio / Xamarin) since 2017 and Linux development .Net/Visual Studio since 2021. I have realised many of my previous projects as classic client/server desktop systems, newer ones mainly as web applications. In addition to new development, I was also able to gain extensive experience in the migration of complex applications from unmanaged code to managed code (VC++ to .Net, C++/CLI) from 2011 onwards. I have also worked extensively with the porting of older VB6 applications to .Net and new development. With .Net Core, .Net 5 and currently .Net 6, migrations are still a constant topic. In addition, I have gained experience in several projects in the hardware-related area, both under Windows (printer driver, kernel-mode driver) and under Linux (diagnostic device, IoT box).
