Unternehmensdarstellung
The forerunner of today's BST Buck Systemtechnik GmbH was founded in 1989 not far from the chemical park in Brunsbüttel at the gates of Hamburg. In the first small projects in the chemical environment, the engineers around the founder and owner Dipl.-Ing. Andreas Buck quickly specialised in control technology tasks for the chemical and process engineering industry.
Even though the focus is still in the area of process automation today, another business field developed in our company through IT-based tasks that are closely related to process control technology. In the meantime, we have several software developers who are specialised in the realisation of database applications from Microsoft Access to Oracle. In close coordination with our customers, we develop powerful software applications that are always geared to their individual needs and requirements.
The existing partnership with Siemens in the field of process control technology led to the establishment of a further business segment in the area of Manufacturing Operations Management in 2003. We have made it our task to support manufacturing companies in the digitalisation of their production processes by implementing state-of-the-art software solutions (MES & APS).
Our current service portfolio is divided into the following 4 areas:
1) Process automation (e.g. process control technology, TIA Portal, process simulation and optimisation)
2) Hardware engineering (e.g. electrical design and documentation, control cabinet construction and assembly)
3) Manufacturing Operations Management (e.g. Manufacturing Execution Systems)
4) Individual software development
