Initial situation: An extensive database cluster based on Microsoft SQL Server was to be equipped with a novel, flexible replication architecture tailored to specific customer needs based on the database's own Service Broker be provided.

Goals achieved: The prerequisites for the service broker architecture were analysed and the architecture was also implemented. The development of docking system components was adapted and implemented as planned by trained application development teams.

Job description: Development of the database architecture, analysis and validation of the system behaviour, coaching of the software development teams, project management, risk analysis and assessment according to FMEA.

Role: Sub-project manager server/storage in an extensive migration project

Initial situationA complete IT infrastructure with approx. 1800 workstations in the call centre and group reporting areas as well as approx. 14 server systems and applications was to be migrated from one IT service provider to a new IT service provider. The server/storage sub-project was highly relevant and complex, also with regard to process issues.

Goals achieved: The infrastructure was migrated step by step as planned and is subsequently being used successfully.
