For this project, an automated rest interface was implemented. The data was extracted via the interface, aggregated and made available to the customer in the form of Excel or csv files for further automated processing in an augmented reality application. The focus was on the one hand on the automation, and on the other hand on the organisation and technology of the data retrieval via the provided Rest API.
BBF was commissioned to design and adapt the interfaces for the reporting system in the context of the merger of two banking companies. In this project, two national subsidiaries of a bank were merged with the German bank and combined in terms of system technology. The aim was to fully integrate the banks for the legal requirements within the reporting system into a common report for leasing, financing contracts and deposit accounts.
Implementation of a project to integrate a calculation solution into the existing IT landscape. This included the conception and development of a control programme to supply a calculation core for the post-calculation of credit and leasing transactions and for the calculation of planning data from SAP BPC. Furthermore, the interface was connected to an international data warehouse (74 companies spread over 32 countries) for the calculation of cash values, condition contributions and effective and market interest rates depending on different payment flows.
BBF developed a complex workflow control of 350 workflows with 1,200 sessions on changed hardware, including migration of the database to an Intel Linux system and parameterisation of all file deliveries. Due to the upgrade of the ETL tool and the simultaneous change of the operating system, the control was completely redeveloped and all ETL jobs had to be migrated, tested and partly functionally adapted.
In order to meet the obligation to fulfil the minimum requirements for risk management (MaRisk) in addition to the additional reporting obligations, the duration-based control in the interest rate risk area was changed to a present-value value-at-risk control. For this purpose, an interface programme was designed and developed through which the data was loaded, aggregated and quality-checked. Furthermore, a user interface enabled the processing of correction factors and process fictions and the connection of a modularised calculation core.
Realisation of the new conception and implementation of the master data supply for the website and the vehicle configurator of a large German car manufacturer by BBF. The aim of the project was a maintenance application, via which the online editor can initiate the enrichment and release of data according to the life cycle of the vehicle model for the worldwide markets in 180 countries. An automatic update of the technical data and price information from the relevant master systems as well as the transformation of the technical views to the hierarchies required for marketing was realised.
In this project, BBF was responsible for the development, maintenance and operation of the complete data management of an automotive bank. This included the realisation and integration of all interfaces via central data hubs in a hub and spoke architecture with more than 2000 workflows. The goal of the project was to contain the historically grown variety of interfaces that differed in terms of technology and content. For this purpose, a Europe-wide concept was created and the existing interfaces were successively replaced. This made it possible to process larger volumes of data in a shorter time and to create more transparency in the interfaces for audit security.
