Project matching for IT companies

AI start-up Lyncronize launches with high six-figure seed investment

Press release

The mediation of digitisation projects is a market worth billions. A clear trend here is the increasing use of AI-based solutions that make matching between client and contractor more efficient. This change is actively supported by Lyncronize. Whereas the vast majority of competitors focus on the placement of freelancers, Lyncronize concentrates on the matching of IT companies and IT demanders. The goal is clearly set: "We want to become the leading AI-based platform for IT service providers in Europe!" - says Philipp Bitzer, Managing Director of Lyncronize.

Formerly started as a research project by smarTransfer GmbH, Lyncronize is based on an in-house AI that supports companies in all process steps of a digital project, from the automated creation of a tender to staffing. For each digital project on Lyncronize, over 20,000 IT service providers are analysed in terms of skills, experience and additional meta-information and the best matches for the specific requirements are identified.

During the ongoing Corona crisis, the Lyncronize the number of users more than tenfold, significantly more than 5000 users on the provider and demand side are brought together on a data basis.

Rene Wegener, co-founder and CTO, says: "We've proven that our technology doesn't just look good on paper -our customers report cost savings of up to 70% by using our AI, in addition to more efficient processes."

The next step is therefore expansion in both the domestic and international markets. To this end, Lyncronize has now received a high six-figure investment from the Angel Consortium. Investors Club North Hesse and the BM H Beteiligungs-Managementgesellschaft Hessen mbH via the Beteiligungsfonds Hessen Kapital III (EFRE) GmbH, which it manages.

Stephan Groß, Investment Manager at BM H: "Lyncronize convinced us with the concept of data-driven matching and the founding team. We believe that the time is ripe to disruptively change a very traditional industry such as personnel services.
